The Dead Sea is well known for it’s therapeutic and healing properties, so much so, that many companies have shown interest in the manufacturing and supplying of Dead Sea salts as raw materials for body and skin care products.

Research shows that treatments for many conditions through use of the Dead Sea has proved very positive results.

The Dead Sea is especially useful for:
Skin Diseases such as - Psoriasis,  Atopic Dermatitis, Vitiligo & eczema.
Rheumatic Diseases such as - Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoarthritis & Fibromyalgia.
Respiratory Diseases such as - Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis & Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease.
Other Diseases such as Uveitis, Crohn's disease, Heart disease and Hypertension & Orthopedic Rehabilitation.

The Dead Sea is what’s known as an endorheic lake, which means retains water, although there are small perennial springs under and around the Dead Sea, there are no outlet streams to other bodies of water such as rivers or oceans. Because of this mineral content of the Dead Sea is very different from that of ocean water. As the Dead Sea is continually fed water from the rivers and streams coming down off the mountains that surround it when the water evaporates, it leaves behind all the dissolved minerals in the Sea. The continuing evaporation and minerals salts carried into the Sea from the local rivers is what makes the Dead Sea so salty.

This continuous build up of salt has created such extreme conditions that no living creature has ever been able to exist within hence the name “The Dead Sea”.
